Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy is issued by FRIENDO APPS TECHNOLOGIES - FZCO, Premises No. 87934-001, IFZA Properties, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, P.O. Box 342001, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). We are the controller for the personal data described here. Privacy contact: privacy@friendo.mobi.

2. What this policy covers

It covers two things: this website (friendo.mobi) and the upcoming Friendo app for iPhone. The app is still in development; before it is released, this policy will be updated to describe its final data practices precisely, and the app will link to the current version.

3. Website data: none

This website is intentionally built to collect nothing:

  • it sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser’s storage;
  • it uses no analytics and no tracking of any kind;
  • it makes no third-party requests — all fonts, styles, and images are served from our own domain;
  • it has no accounts, forms, or comment features.

Like any web server, ours processes standard connection data (such as your IP address) transiently in order to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors.

4. App data (planned)

Friendo is being designed private by default. Your goals, milestones, habits, and check-ins are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account managed by Apple — not on our servers. We do not run advertising SDKs, we do not sell data, and we intend to ship with minimal or no analytics.

If any of this changes before or after launch (for example, optional crash reporting), we will describe it here first, in plain language, before it takes effect.

6. Retention

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. App data lives on your device and in your iCloud — under your control, not ours.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data we hold about you (for most people this is limited to email correspondence). To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@friendo.mobi. We will respond within a reasonable period.

8. Children

This website and Friendo are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the app evolves — always before a change in practice takes effect. The version and date at the top of this page tell you what you are reading.
